How unusual, and fascinating! The word that comes to mind is perseverance. You see, I was there in 2008 when she started combing through my cookbooks looking for yummy things to make....out of clay. Kim was also a student at the University of Minnesota, majoring in Chemistry and Clinical Lab Science (totally unrelated to her art), but she always made time to perfect her talent.
Perseverance. She's got it. I'm her proud mom, now learning a thing or two about life from her.
